Disruptions, 2010. Two-channel HD video projection, 13:45 min
Loosely based on Jorge Luis Borges’ short story "The Library of Babel", this video follows an anonymous character who begins to make a series of disruptions to the library system ranging from re-shelving Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe from literature to history, to ensconcing Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude by itself on the middle of an empty shelf, in an empty bay.
